A braid is an intertwined network of contributors with different capabilities, usually supported by a software platform, not controlled by a formal hierarchy, who work together to invent ways to accomplish a common purpose. This session will explore the use of braids for integrating supply chains, enhancing innovation, fueling startups, incorporating the ecosystem and enhancing customer engagement in organizations like Airbus, Red Hat, Dassault Systemes, and Schlumberger.

Michel and Bill will share their experience in helping organizations to design and implement these kinds of braids, as well as the challenges and opportunities braid designers will encounter. Learn how technology is amplifying the power of networks, enabling organization designers to create collaborative structures to enable possibilities that didn’t exist before.
