    Activating a Global Brand Model

At the 2015 conference, Amy Kates and Greg Kesler shared how to activate a global operating model and bring to life multi-dimensional organization designs that deliver both agility and leverage. In 2017, Mary Tilley from W. L. Gore showed how that company is using the activation model to speed decision making and drive growth.

This year, Kesler and Kates will be joined by Dan Dombey, head of OE&D and former VP of Strategy at VF Corp. VF brands include Vans, Timberland, Lee, Wrangler, Kipling, and The North Face. Like many companies, VF is facing a consumer that wants a seamless omni-channel experience along with a great product. Dan will share how VF is redesigning to gain the benefit of global brands while also being fast in local markets all around the world. He’ll show how VF is building new functional expertise to support an agile, integrated organization, including new digital capabilities.

Dan Dombey is VP of Organization Effectiveness & Performance at VF, where he has partnered with Kates Kesler in leading a global reorganization to activate a new corporate strategy. Dan joined VF in 2015 as the VP of Strategy for the Jeanswear and Imagewear Coalitions, where he led foundational strategy work for One Wrangler, Lee, and the formation of the VF Workwear business.
